Our key ministries to our younger children includes Sunday School and AWANA. Our childrens ministries are aimed at children beginning at age 3 through the 6th grade.

Sunday School

Sunday School classes are provided on Sunday morning before the worship service. These classes are designed to be fun and interactive and give the children of our church an opportunity to learn about Jesus and the Bible.  This year we will be meeting from 9:00 a.m. til 10:00 a.m.  Childrens Sunday School is for Preschool throught 6th grade.

AWANA is a global ministry sponsored and run by local churches aimed at giving kids a firm foundation in the Lord. AWANA provides an opportunity for children to connect with each other as they memorize scripture and grow in their faith. It meets on Wednesday nights during the school year from 5:45 – 7:30 pm. It is a fun and interactive time for children that includes song time, snacks, games, and learning. Our church hosts the only AWANA program in the community and includes many children from families who dont regularly attend our church.

Our Ministry: Students in grades 7 through 12

Our Purpose: We believe that all students are created by God and so we will intentionally create opportunities for every student, each with God-given gifts talents and desires to love God with all their heart, soul, strength and mind, and follow Jesus, to create a growing, lasting and reproducing faith.

Our Mission: We desire to create a place where students can grow in Christ and where unsaved friends want to come.

Hey 7th-12th graders! You’ve come to the right place! Let me introduce you to something we know you’ll really like!

Wednesday Night 20/20

That’s right. A student ministry designed with you in mind! How’s that you ask? Let me tell you what we value:

  1. Real, Rock-solid Relationships

We here at Christ Community Church genuinely care about you and what’s going on in your life! We don’t expect you to be perfect because we aren’t either! We invite you to come as you are and we’ll build relationships with each other and other students.

  1. Creative Bible Teaching

We happen to think that the Bible is the most incredible book ever written! It is our goal to experience God’s Word in action each week and help you apply its words to your everyday life.

  1. Fun!

We think if you can have fun at church, you can't wait to come back! And we know you’ll have fun each week as you realize adults care about you and you learn about Jesus, who loves you and died on a cross to bring you back to God. There’s no greater place to be!

 Classes offered this fall are:

The Heart of Family”, a video series taught by Kirk and Chelsea Cameron on marriage and parenting.   The principles presented in this series are solid, biblically-based, and will help you grow as a spouse and as a parent.  Investing in our marriages and families will positively impact our church and our community.  Whether you are new to marriage and parenting or whether you have been married for many years and are empty nesters, this class has something for everyone and we can all benefit from our shared wisdom and experiences.   Class facilitators are John & Lori Hanson.

Explore the Bible:  Personal Study Guide is designed to help adults prepare before the meeting, facilitate discovery during the session, and encourage application after study time.  This quarter’s study is Exodus and Leviticus.  Suggested donation for the books will be $3.00.  Class facilitators will be Maynard Stensrud and Howard Lundeen.
