At Christ Community Church we realize that everyone is on a spiritual journey. When we say Experience God’s Word in Action we want this to be a place where we help you grow in your relationship with the Lord wherever you are at in your spiritual journey. We believe this is a lifelong process so we provide a number of opportunities for adults to be ministered to and to continue to grow in their faith while being challenged to Love God, Love One Another and Love Their Neighbor. Outside of our Sunday morning worship service we offer activities like Sunday School, Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Small Groups, and more. Please take a look at what might be helpful to you.
During the school year we typically offer three different Adult Sunday school classes. We offer a variety so you can always find one that is a good fit for you. Some of them are video based and others are discussion based, but they all give an opportunity for you to deepen your understanding of God’s Word and how it applies to your life.
Our Men’s ministry is called Journey Men and seeks to minister to men and connect them with other men for fellowship and support. There are Men’s small groups that meet together as well as Men’s Seminars and Conferences that we host and participate in.
We offer a number of Bible Studies designed specifically for women as part of our Women’s Ministries. We also have groups like MAKs (Moms and Kids) which is designed specifically to minister to moms of small children. There are other activities, events and conferences that we participate in addition to our annual Women’s Retreat every fall.
When we think about “making disciples," which is exactly what Jesus instructed us to do in Matthew 28, we break that down to a three step process in our church called our Disciple Making Pathway, which is Loving God, Loving Others, and Loving Your Neighbor as Yourself. We believe the best way you can experience Loving Others is through our small group ministry. In our Small Groups we provide an opportunity for you to be a part of a community that knows and cares for one another on a level you don’t get from sitting in a pew behind someone in church each Sunday. We encourage you to join one of our small groups.
