"Worship is the believer's response of all that they are – mind, emotions, will, body – to what God is and says and does." -Warren Wiersbe
Our desire is that the ministries in our church will draw you closer to God and his love.We believe that we can love because He first loved us. Our Sunday morning worship services feature prayer, Bible teaching, and a blended mix of contemporary and traditional music to allow for whole hearted worship of God.
A typical Sunday morning begins at 9:00 am when we offer Sunday School classes for children starting for those age 3 and up through high school. We also offer a variety of classes for adults. Click to learn more: Children, Junior/Senior High School, Adults. A nursery is available for children under the age of 3 where children are lovingly cared for while parents are in a class or the worship service.
Following Sunday School there is a fellowship time. Coffee and donuts are provided. In this setting is an opportunity to experience love for one another. Relationships made during these times can be reinforced by participation in small groups during the week. We encourage involvement in a small group for growth in a person's walk with Christ and for the development of believers who reach out to their neighbors in love.
Children’s Church (Kids Zone) is offered for children between the ages of 3 & 8 and provides a time for children to worship God with stories and lessons suited to their age. If you have children in this age group, they should join you at the beginning of the service and they will be dismissed after about half-an-hour.
If you prefer to keep your children with you during the service and it is a challenge for them to sit quietly, we do offer an overflow room where you can participate in the service and your children can be children!
The Sunday Morning Service begins at 10:15 am, with a time of singing led by a worship team. The music is a blend of contemporary worship songs and traditional hymns. The service includes a period of corporate prayer, worship through receiving tithes and offerings, some brief announcements and a message from God's Word. The service is typically 75 minutes in length. We invite you to bring your own Bible to the service each week, but we also have Bibles available and most scripture used in the sermon is projected on the large screens. The words for the music we sing are projected on these screens as well.
On the 1st Sunday of the month we celebrate Communion. Everyone who is a follower of Jesus Christ is welcome to participate in communion.
On the 4th Sunday of the month an additional offering is received for our Family Care Fund which is used to care for those who may have short term special needs within our church family or the community.
There are people available each Sunday to answer questions or provide assistance. These include greeters at the front door, ushers at the entrance to the worship center, and an information booth. If you have any questions about where to find things or how things work any of these people will be happy to assist you when you visit.
You will receive a bulletin which includes a tear-out insert where you can fill out some information about yourself and communicate the need for or share a prayer request. Feel free to fill out this insert and put it in the offering plate when it comes by. If you are a first time visitor we will also have a welcome gift for you at the Information Booth after the service. Please stop by and pick up this gift from us before you leave.
**Between Memorial Day and Labor Day we adjust the schedule of our church to only offer a 9:30 am worship service without Sunday School classes.
